The power of ‘the DRESS’ gives any bride an intoxicating feeling. Once you find it, claim it, fit it, then you must love it and be ready to rock it with full confidence!
The process is a journey through bolts of lace, tulle, trains and bustles which can be an overwhelming task, but it’s your wedding, you are the star of the show and nothing less than perfection is an option!
For me the finding part was easy, I had to look no further than my closet. I had been awe struck by a Nina Ricci gown (one of my favorite designers) that I had bought years before my getting re-married was even a glimmer on the horizon. It was gorgeous, and had been waiting patiently, tags still on for a event special enough to make its debut…if I dared.
I had a moment of hesitation, it was definitely not your traditional wedding dress, but Caroline as always was there to reassure me…”Laura it’s you! And besides where else you going to wear a dress like that?!” She was right of course. Who cares what number wedding you’re on? Wear the dress you decide is you and don’t look back…that’s what I did and loved it!
